Let me be your voice at
Regional Council (ECan) for Christchurch North
• Safe water – now and in the future. Our water quality and how we allocate water needs improvement.
• Your rates – prudent use of your rates with an eye to value – no more Target Pest fiascos.
• Integrated energy plan – effective policies for cleaner air and improved public transportation.
• Effective environmental monitoring – to support informed management of our resources – you can’t manage what you can’t measure.

Welcome
Welcome to my webpage and thanks for making the time to find out about me and what I stand for as an independent candidate for Regional Council (ECan) in Christchurch North.
Why an I standing? Because our current issues are too important to stand on the sidelines and do nothing. As someone who got very sick on contaminated water from a rural North Canterbury supply, I do not want to see Christchurch lose its iconic water supply. We need new energy at the council table to put plans and strategies in place to ensure we have a healthy community with a vibrant economy based on land and water use practices that do not leave pollution and contamination for our children to deal with. I have the experience, the skills and the knowledge to be your effective representative.
I am well prepared to be your voice at ECan, having spent 250+ hours attending ECan meetings along with having a rural background, an education in science and business ownership experience.I offer you common sense, informed decision making and a commitment to make a difference. Your voice needs to be heard at the council table without the undue influence of party politics. That is why I have been a lifelong independent. I seek your vote to be your effective representative.
I really look forward to hearing from you. Your ideas and concerns are an important part of our community voice and need to be effectively represented at ECan.
